This temple, is a part of the Royal Palace Museum located in Luang Prabang.

Once the capital of Laos and the home of the Royal Monarchy, the city of Luang Prabang is today located in the province bearing the same name. It is perhaps one of the most beautiful cities you will ever come across.

Luang Prabang becons travellers with its history, food, sights and sounds, wildlife, and serene picturesque landscapes. Surround by mountains and the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers, it has rebuilt itself into an important trade route yet has seen its development well planned in order to keep the slow and relaxed life of the city separate from the hustle and bustle of trade.

A trip to Laos is not a complete trip without some time spent in Luang Prabang and nearby towns and attractions.

Tat Kuang Si

A short drive from Luang Prabang, Tat Kuang Si (Kuang Si waterfalls) are one of the most serene waterfalls you will ever come across.

Phu Si

A large staircase takes you up to the top of this hill site location in Luang Prabang. There you will be rewarded with incredible views of the town as well as beautiful temples awaiting you at top.

Royal Palace

Originally built in the early 1900's for King Sisavang Vong and his family, the Royal Palace is now an important historical museum in Luang Prabang.
