Originally built in the early 1900's for King Sisavang Vong and his family, the Royal Palace is now an important historical museum in Luang Prabang.

It is an ideal starting point for your trip.

Hours of Operation: 8am-11am
1:30pm-4pm

Pants and shirts exposing only your arms are required attire.

Pha Bang

Pha Bang, a beautiful prized Buddha, resides in the Royal Palace Museum. The Buddha has actually seen its own share of travelling abroad to Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia.
